Yesterday when Colcolt posted the same link as you did, it told what foods were recalled and now the link says they are not part of the recall.

I will give this link because after talking with someone at the company yesterday, they gave me the correct one; and they said they are not associated with Menu foods.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) was informed today, April 16, 2007, that Natural Balance Pet Foods has received consumer complaints regarding the Venison & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food, and Venison & Green Pea Dry Cat Foods. The company does not know the cause of the problems, but has received reports of animals vomiting and experiencing kidney problems. Although the company is stating that the problems seem to be focused on one particular lot, as a precautionary measure, the company is pulling all dates of Venison & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food and Venison & Green Pea Dry Cat Food from the shelves.

The company is advising consumers to discontinue feeding all Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog Food, and Venison and Green Pea Dry Cat Food.

Stop the madness!!!!!

Geez, I hope this is the last recall we see. Natural Balance Fish was a food I just sampled for my two (using as training treats).

So far Eagle Pack has not had any recalls. Man, if I have to actually start cooking for my two.... a scary thought indeed!

By the way, I just had my store order up a bag of Fromm Chicken a la Veg for them. I liked what I read.

Recent advice to is consider rotating a food from another manyfacturer. But with all this going on, it makes you wonder what is next.

It is so scary. My sister called me at 6:30 am this morning to ask if I feed the chipmunks natural balance. The scariest part is I ran out of Natures Recipe and needed more dog food so I almost bought a bag of Natural Balance as this particular store doesn't stock Natures Recipe. However, The Lord blessed me and she did have a special order bag of Natures Recipe on the shelf she sold me. I am getting more afraid to feed them everyday.
