You should see him with anything I give him- he sucks it, chews it a little in the corner of his mouth and then places it on the floor, sniffs around it and anything he finds suspiciously like a pill he spits across the floor- one piece of kibble ended up under the stove yesterday- when I have the kitchen done next month they will find pieces of kibble under all the units.

Only one more pill to go tomorrow and I am fooling him now by giving it to him in his evening food.

Oh that silly Sooty! What about crushing it? Oh, that would probably "contaminate" the rest of the food and it would all end up under the appliances. Good thing he only has one left!

What a funny boy! If Midge were there, she'd clean up all those long lost bits of kibble under the appliances for you!

Glad Sooty's on the mend and the pills are almost finished. Sounds like he's a pill houdini. Maybe if you leave it in the edge of the shelf and try to tell him to leave it!

FYI, something that's always worked as far as getting a pill down is to bury it in a teaspoon of ice cream.
Because it's so cold they will just quickly lick the spoon and swallow. I've never known it to fail!
